Promoting safer roads through awareness, responsibility, and action. Mind and Matter’s Road Safety Initiative educates communities on safe practices, responsible behavior, and accident prevention by Creating awareness today for safer journeys tomorrow.
Recognizing the urgent need for road safety awareness, Mind and Matter launched its Road Safety Initiative in April 2024 through a concert at the Kodava Hockey Festival. The event brought together talented artists, including Karthik Gubbi, Ashwin Mandoth, Raghotham, Madhura Gowda, Sharan Aiyappa, and more, using the power of music to spread awareness about responsible road behavior.
Launched in April 2024 at the Kodava Hockey Festival, This foundation led to Madikeri's first 'Run for Safety' marathon on 24 April, 2025, uniting 170 participants and local authorities. This key 2025 event significantly bolstered road safety awareness and promoted safer driving practices in Kodagu.
To reinforce this message visually, we collaborated with illustrator Prajwal to create engaging and informative artwork highlighting the importance of following traffic rules, wearing helmets, and prioritizing safety on the roads. Encouraged by the response, we aim to expand this initiative by conducting more awareness sessions and campaigns in the future. By blending music, art, and community engagement, we strive to make road safety a shared responsibility and a key public concern.
