Music for Mental Health
A series of concerts to harnesses the power of music to normalize Mental Health conversations and address associated stigmas across the nation.
The Campaign "Music for Mental Health" leverages the universal appeal of music to raise widespread awareness of Mental well-being, destigmatise and normalise Mental Health as part of overall health and empower youth, children and adults by equipping them with essential tools for resilience.
Music for Mental Health is a Pan-India Mental Health movement set to run in 3 phases across 16 Indian cities for the next 2 years. The central objective is to leverage the universal appeal of music to bring conversation about Mental Health and provide a tangible platform for breaking social stigmas and promoting open dialogue across the nation.
Phase 1: Concerts in collaboration with Recognised Artists in Tier 1 and Tier 2 Cities.
Phase 2: Intercollege Festival Engagement.
Phase 3: Simultaneous Mental Well-being Programs in the same city as the concert
The campaign is rooted in the belief that Mental Health cannot remain limited to conversations or hashtags but also translate into healthier habits, shared responsibility, and sustained action. Unlike conventional awareness campaigns, Music for Mental Health is designed as a practice-led movement, through music, live engagements, and structured Mental Well-being programs through preventive modules that are designed in collaboration with the department of Psychiatric Social Work NIMHANS, Bangalore that equips participants with resilient activity-based workshops that focus on building emotional awareness, practical coping strategies, help seeking behaviour, and community-based support systems that people can carry into their daily lives.
Our goal is to reach 16 cities by 2028, sparking a profound cultural shift for over 100,000 participants and transforming the national conversation from silence to open dialogue and support.
